Meet Emina & Chicks on Chic

The brand Chicks on Chic was founded by designers Emina Štrkljević and Margita Videtić and now is run by Emina. The brand was founded in 2011 and at that time the designers undertook the redesign of vintage clothing, while today they create their own clothes, handmade bags and rucksacks made of leather and textile. All pieces are made in small batches, out of natural materials, and they have been inspired by vintage clothes and designs with a huge emphasis on details, which in themselves provide you with that particular Chicks on Chic feeling. The nuances change the perception.

Meet Selma & Little Wonder

Little Wonder is a brand well known for its statement necklaces, bracelets and earrings made of sterling silver 925, gold plated brass, semiprecious and precious stones, silk, cotton and leather. This eclectic mixture of different materials and patterns is what characterizes Little Wonder jewelry. Every piece of Little Wonder jewelry is handcrafted with love and great precision. The main philosophy behind the brand are powerful impression and quality. LW jewelry is made for confident women who are not afraid to flirt with different styles but often opt for basic combinations with striking details. Little Wonder collections are produced completely in the designer's studio in Croatia. Every piece is handmade by the designer herself with extreme care. Every collection is the reflection of the designer's current inspiration, such as nature, architecture, Mediterranean, constellations, ethnic prints, etc. Selma Štrkljević Mravak was born in 1984 in Split, a vibrant Mediterranean city on the Croatian coast. From early childhood, she was surrounded by art, fashion design and constant desire of her family to create. Her father was an artist and her grandmother was a pioneer of knitting at that time in Split. She graduated art history and Italian language and literature in Zagreb. During her studies, the theory and her creative side were in constant struggle. She always wanted to do something with her own hands and so she began creating jewelry. From the very beginnings in 2010, when Selma founded the brand until now, when her brand has grown and gained international recognition, Selma has been managing it with the same love and devotion. The label has been featured on the cover of Croatian Grazia magazine and on the pages of British Vogue, Australian Women's Health, Croatian Elle, StoryBook magazine and many more. In 2013 Selma presented her brand at one of the most important design exhibitions in Croatia, Dan D, where she exhibited the collection „Connection“ made in cooperation with young and prominent Croatian designer Vedrana Mastela. In 2014 Selma was chosen among 49 designers from 21 countries to participate in the exhibition Complete Parts in Shin Gallery at Manhattan,New York. In 2014 Little Wonder also exhibited at the Month of Design in Ljubljana, at the Brands and Signs exhibition.
