Meet the people

KRUG is not just another brand who want's to get ahead in the fashion industry. We have a story, a message, and a clear purpose with our brand. We want to be seen, to be heard, in order to tell our story, and what we believe in, which is a better world.

We support fair trade fashion, we practise sustainability and slow fashion for a more sustainable fashion industry and we use at least 90% natural materials.

Yes, it sounds very naive to think that we can change the world into a better place, but we can most certainly give it our best, and contribute where we can. Find out how KRUG contributes to a more sustainable fashion industry and maybe you would also like to know how KRUG was founded in the first place.

We would like to introduce you to the people behind KRUG.

Meet Emina, Margita & Chicks on Chic

Designers Emina Štrkljević and Margita Videtić stand behind the brand Chicks on Chic. The brand was founded in 2011 and at that time the designers undertook the redesign of vintage clothing, while today they create their own clothes, handmade bags and rucksacks made of leather and textile. All pieces are made in small batches, out of natural materials, and they have been inspired by vintage clothes and designs with a huge emphasis on details, which in themselves provide you with that particular Chicks on Chic feeling. The nuances change the perception.

Meet Katarina & Dott.

The brand Dott. is like a precious baby to the fashion and costume designer Katarina Bilan. Dott. was founded in 2011 and its main characteristic are small collections comprised of eight to ten pieces of clothing, which are always interesting and compelling in cut. From the very beginning, when colours and patterns such as stripes and little dots prevailed in Katarina’s work, through the latest collections, which are mostly monochromatic, the brand has kept its distinctive dose of playfulness and femininity. Her work can be found at all important fashion events and exhibitions in Croatia, such as Dan D, Zona 45, Artomat, Velesajamkulture, and she has also realised several collaborations in the field of fashion and costume design.
