The collection Return, is a sort of return to childhood, that is, the result of designer's questioning about what is shaping us during our growing up ... To what extent are we determined by the environment in which we develop and grow, which are the inputs that form us, how much of the past we carry in ourselves and are we aware of it?
The collection Return is actually the return to childhood and the invocation of topos which shaped the author herself.Designing new jewelry pieces, the designer has been recalling the visuals she has watched throughout her childhood, the architecture of Split, more precisely the district Spinut, skyscraper in which she grew up, the curved lines of the Poljud swimming pool, the surrounding mountains, which she was visiting as a child, and the mountain vegetation that she embodied in brass and sterling silver.The materials used in the collection are 24 carat gold plated brass, 925 sterling silver and freshwater pearls that were indispensable fashion accessories of designer's grandma.
The collection features earrings most often made in three sizes, necklaces with pendants made by combined technique of etching and engraving, where the designer drew kind of infantile linear drawings of mountains, bracelets and rings.The campaign is the fruit of the co-operation of two friends who know each other for almost the whole life. The campaign is signed by world renowned fashion photographer Bruna Kazinoti, adored by editors of legendary magazines such as Pop, Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused and many others.
