To mark its fifteenth anniversary, Croatian brand Little Wonder presents its 2025 jewellery collection titled Soft Armour—a collection that embodies strength in softness and heritage through form.
Soft Armour is an homage to past collections, subtly referencing them throughout. Every piece is handcrafted in the studio of designer Selma Štrkljević Mravak. The collection bridges past and present through Little Wonder’s signature aesthetic.
The jewellery is made from 24k gold-plated brass, 925 sterling silver, AA-grade freshwater pearls (a staple in Selma’s work since the brand’s inception), topaz, Herkimer diamonds, and Adriatic coral. Through organic shapes inspired by the noble pen shell (Pinna nobilis), the designer explores the idea of achieving fluidity in metal—and of jewellery as a kind of amulet: a gentle shield.
Each piece in the collection is crafted with deep respect for material, process, and personal story. One of the standout pieces is a long necklace made from hand-formed links with a baroque pearl—at once bold and fluid. Designed for versatility, it can be layered or worn solo as a statement.
The collection also features versatile pieces such as modular earrings with reticulated silver and pearl pendants, suitable for both everyday and evening wear. Soft Armour includes bold brooches, rings, necklaces, and shell-shaped earrings in various finishes, as well as choker necklaces made of freshwater pearls and Adriatic coral, all hand-strung on silk thread using a traditional knotting technique.
